The great looks of this ‘image’ captured by our Gtech™ LX240 LiDAR system belies the ‘Insights’ available from such high precision products. In this case the image comprises millions of laser points which we have classified into vegetation types along a road corridor. Each point also has a survey grade x,y,z coordinate associated with it which can be used for detailed engineering and planning. Amazing.
