All the talk of technology, but really, people are our business. Established in 2009 to develop value-for-money aerial imagery services for the mining sector, we design and integrate our own technology and fly it ourselves.
Our founding story
Outline was established to take advantage of opportunities to develop value-for-money aerial imagery services to the mining sector through designing and integrating innovative technology. Between 2012 and 2014 Outline developed and commercialised Australia's first portable, high resolution, survey grade camera pod system, known as the Gtech™.
Through perpetual innovation, and while collecting millions of square kilometres of high quality imagery, our Gtech™ cameras have helped to grow and underpin our strong industry reputation. Against this backdrop, the team at Outline developed data intensive solutions which now include LiDAR, thermal and multispectral imagery, all of which support a rich set of insights solving many complex real world problems and helping to make Outline an industry leader.
Outline continues to grow its capacity to service rapidly increasing recurring revenue growth across several high growth use cases. We strive to be the world's premier partner for integrating ground breaking technologies delivering data intensive geospatial insights. The broad scale uptake of our technology and insights, the quality of the product and professional service has cemented Outline's position as a trusted partner.

Data redundancy and quality product outcomes are the core focus of our accreditation. The key components of this process cover all aspects of the supply chain.
In addition, Outline is a BARS-accredited operator for aerial work, demonstrating our commitment to recognised aviation safety and operational standards.
